C.D. Heidgerd

Dick Heidgerd has practiced law in Raleigh, North Carolina for more than thirty-five years. His emphasis is in protecting clients' legal rights in serious civil, administrative and family law cases. These cases include:

  • Investor Securities Claims – FINRA Arbitration and Securities, Investment or Stockbroker fraud
  • Unfair trade practices and fraud
  • Breach of Fiduciary Duty and Constructive Fraud

Eric D. Edwards

Eric Edwards joined Mr. Heidgerd in his law practice in 2008. His emphasis is in protecting clients' legal rights in civil, criminal and family law cases. These cases include:

  • Family Law – including separation, divorce, equitable distribution of marital property, alimony, and child custody
  • Criminal Law – including all misdemeanors and serious felony drug charges
  • Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While License Revoked
  • Other serious traffic offenses
  • Investor Securities Claims - FINRA Arbitration and Securities, Investment or Stockbroker fraud

Jason E. Spain

Jason Spain joined Mr. Heidgerd and Mr. Edwards in 2014. His emphasis is helping clients with business and estate planning by drafting the appropriate instrument for each client's unique situation. Jason studied international business law abroad, earning a Master’s degree in international business Mr. Spain typically handles cases involving:

  • Business Law- including contract drafting, review, and negotiation, business formation and corporate governance, employment agreements and restrictive covenants, as well as general counseling services regarding business transactions
  • Individual and Business Contract Disputes
  • Estate Planning and Administration - drafting of Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Trust instruments; administration of decedents' estates and assistance for executors and administrators of estates of all sizes
  • Intellectual Property Law - covering Copyright, Trademarks, and Trade Secrets, including assignments and licensing agreements affecting individual or corporate rights to intellectual property
  • International Law - including recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitration awards here in North Carolina; international intellectual property rights consulting

Jeff Worley

Jeff Worley joined The Heidgerd Law Office in 2016. His emphasis is criminal defense, family law, and general civil litigation. The types of cases he regularly handles are:

  • Contract disputes – non-compete covenants, business contracts, leases, insurance policies, etc.
  • Criminal law – minor traffic offenses to felonies
  • Family law – separation, divorce, equitable distribution of marital property, alimony, and child custody
  • Lemon Law
