Abby J. Holt

Abby graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and
Political Science. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Campbell University School of Law. While at Campbell,
Abby served as Justice of Phi Alpha Delta, and participated in the Domestic Violence Advocacy Pro Bono Project and
the Expunction Project.
Prior to joining Heidgerd & Edwards, Abby clerked for Wake County District Court Judge Sam Hamadani, and for
family law firms in both Apex and Asheville. Abby has a passion for representing clients through the difficult
times in their lives. She has a unique perspective in representing clients in divorce and with their family law
matters and is particularly passionate about representing individuals in court for domestic violence related
issues.
As a member of the North Carolina State Bar, Abby is licensed to practice law in all state courts in North
Carolina and she is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association.
